Why did you start De Goudwaag?
De Goudwaag is being run by a family of diplomats, in which the husband is a diplomat and the wife the owner of De Goudwaag. When the family moved back to The Hague after seven years abroad, the woner wanted to engage in an interesting occupation, which she is good at. This made the choice for opening a gold buyer’s shop very easy. This is a clear case of “turning your hobby into your work”.
